The Challenge: Future-Proofing a Luxury Build
The clients were constructing a highly insulated, modern family home. They needed a heating system that would complement the property's clean aesthetics (no bulky radiators!) while providing consistent, efficient, and eco-friendly warmth year-round. Because it was a new build, our team needed to work seamlessly with the main contractors and architects to integrate the system during construction.
The Total NRG Solution
Following a comprehensive heat-loss calculation based on the architect's plans, we designed a bespoke renewable heating system tailored to the property’s specific demands.

The Heat Pump: We installed a highly efficient 13.5kW Stiebel Eltron Air-Source Heat Pump as the primary heat source for space heating and domestic hot water.

The Heat Distribution: To maximise the efficiency of the heat pump, we designed and installed a complete Underfloor Heating (UFH) system throughout the ground floor. Because UFH runs at lower temperatures than standard radiators, it is the perfect companion for a heat pump.

Smart Integration: The entire system was set up with smart, remote-access thermostats, allowing homeowners to control their heating room by room from their smartphones.
