The Challenge: Heating Solid Stone

Solid stone walls look incredible, but they require a well-designed heating system to maintain a comfortable ambient temperature. Because this property serves as a holiday home, the owner also needed a way to ensure the house was warm before guests arrived, without leaving the heating running at full blast while the property was empty.

The Total NRG Solution

Following a thorough assessment of the property's heat loss, we designed a comprehensive, hybrid heat distribution system powered by a premium heat pump.

The Heat Pump: We installed a highly efficient Stiebel Eltron Air Source Heat Pump to provide reliable space heating and hot water.

Tailored Heat Distribution: To maximise efficiency on the ground floor, we installed a complete ROTH Underfloor Heating (UFH) system. For the first floor, we installed carefully sized radiators to provide rapid, responsive heat to the bedrooms.

Smart Remote Access: We integrated the entire system with smart controls. The system features full remote access, allowing the owner to monitor and control both the heating times and temperatures from anywhere in the world via their smartphone.
